    5A God Sent!
    By NF1031
When my one cat got really ill we had to put her on a very strict diet and we had to do it very quickly. As all cat owners know you are suppose to gradually switch your cats from one food to another. Due to the situation at hand we had to stop feeding the cats the other dry food they were on. Much to my surprise they did not get sick once from the food change. Which I was shocked as I was not even able to gradually switch them over to it. My one cat passed away but I have decided to keep her sister on this long term. I have noticed she rarely gets hairballs or vomits anymore and she seems to not mind the food and eats it up. It's much better on her system and I prefer to keep her on a good diet now that she is getting older. I just wish I would have found it sooner before my other cat developed digestive issues that led to much more severe illness. I really feel the garbage fillers and stuff they are putting in our animals foods played a huge part in her getting sick.

5Ingredients Matter! Cats w/ Food Allergies
    By MDJandDML
Our youngest cat has an allergy to grains (makes sense as cats are carnivores). He was dumped at the shelter by his previous owner who complained he always threw up but she never knew why. We adopted him, tried many other brands that usually had one or more grain fillers- corn, soy, wheat, or rice. We finally figured that was the problem by switching him to Basics. Basics is the ONLY thing he's able to eat and he finally put on weight after a sickly malnourished kittenhood. Our other cat who used to eat meow mix also does fine with this and loves it. It was expensive for us in comparison to other brands but is a good quality food and very much worth his good health!!! I pray they never discontinue this formula. If your cat isn't doing 100% maybe they have an allergy to grain that you have yet to discover.

    5Blue make my cats Happy
    By BevHev1
If it's on sale, GRAB IT NOW!! I have had my cats on grain free food for over a year now. I switched to Blue after they started leaving food in the bowls.

My cats, 6 and 7 years old, absolutely LOVE this food. They will gobble it up just plain dry or mixed with wet food. And never leave a speck behind in the bowl.
