Quality cat food for a cat with fish allergy!
My cat really loves this food. It's got a good consistency and is very juicy, which he very much appreciates. The formula seems to work very well for him, and the food has a very delicious taste, in my opinion. My cat is suffering from a fish allergy, and he does not like pork or beef, and chicken sometimes seems a bit too bland apparently, so I'm happy this product exists. And I'm glad it's LID - less ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction (and read the labels of most other cat food: almost all of them will have tuna in them, so most of the regular food is out of the question for my cat).
I've been buying this particular food for almost a year now, but this was my first purchase off of Amazon.
The package arrived promptly and intact; no cans were missing. I know some mentioned they were sent 23 instead of 24 cans, but the cans are all shrink wrapped into one, so - my order was complete.
I'll definitely will purchase this again, and Prime makes it really easy and quick!

Not for cats with egg allergies but otherwise FANTASTIC!
My cat has IBD and can't have grains or seafood. I know this contains egg product which most limited ingredient foods don't, so certainly look elsewhere is your cat has an egg related allergy. But my guy is super finicky and with his diet restrictions it is hard to find something he'll eat. He loves this and it doesn't upset his belly. Love!

My cat demands this food!
I work in a Vet's office so I have a pretty good idea of what is good and what isn't. This food caught my eye because it is duck flavored and it is really difficult to find duck flavored cat food where I live. One of my cats, who I believe has IBS, demands duck flavored food. He loves this food. He will literally starve himself before eating anything else, so I'm very glad to have found something he likes. Hopefully they never stop making it or my cat will starve himself to death. The only complaints I have are the price, which while comparable to other high end diets, is just too high. And Merrick really needs to do better with quality control. I have been purchasing this food for my picky cat for a while now and have seen batches of cases that were almost dry with no gravy, batches with way too much gelatinous gravy, and batches that just looked funky. It makes me uncomfortable since I feed my other cats Royal Canin due to their amazing quality control, ingredients and prescription diets. If I could feed my picky cat Royal Canin, I would. As things are, he (and consequently me) depends on this food. Whether or not I'd recommend it to others is pretty iffy though.
