    2Didn't work.
    By Rita
I bought this pump to use in a small 5 gallon tank which I have at work. I have to clean the tank quickly and quietly so that I don't disturb others (or let people see how much time I put into my fish tank at work). This pump unfortunately just didn't work, the battery powered part of it wasn't strong enough to suck up anything so I returned it.

    5new ciclid owner
    By D. White
My ciclid tank is my fouth tank and is 26 gallons. My other tanks are ten gallon tanks and they are so easy to take care of. I have 3 ciclids in this tank and it's always messy looking. I even took out the gravel because I thought that was the problem. But since I got the Marina vacuum it's a breeze to suck the nasty stuff off the bottom. I do it daily and it's so easy! My tank is a about 2 inches too deep for the attachment so I just put a hose in it's place and I have a flexible vacuum that can reach anywhere. The sock is perfect. I don't have any leakage. My only suggestion is that they should include a hose in their packaging. One more thing, it has a hook that I attach to the tank lid, so I have two hands free to work with. My suggestion here is that they should make it more of a clip than just a hook.

    5Great Product
    By waza30
This Vacuum is fantastic. A no muss no fuss vacuum. It was a little tough to get suction at first and I found the reason to be the openings at the bottom of the cup. I put duct tape around them and put a small clamp so the tube will not slide up and down. With this little engineering the vacuum is the cats a##. The suction was fantastic! It is being used on my 50 gallon tank and cleaned in perfectly in about an hour. The bag is a little small so I had to keep washing it out. But no spillage and no bucket to mess with. You can hook up a hose to a bucket and remove water for cleaning if you want. This tool is so cheap and very effective. These bad reviews are people that are using it wrong. With a little tinkering this is a fantastic product.
