Over priced, heavy, noisy, and slow
By D. Erwin
I bough these clippers wanting a very good set of cordless clippers. I thought that is what I would get because of the price. I use them on horses. I have a old set of $60 clippers and wanted to get something better. These oster clippers are slow, vibrate, and make noise which isn't good for horses plus they don't cut good in heavy leg hair. They keep stalling. My old clippers that are worn out do a better job. Don't buy these expecting to have a professional set of clippers. They are over priced by a factor of 3.

... in a veterinary clinic and we generally have very good luck with the Oster brand- except for this one
By Dr Katy Clark
I work in a veterinary clinic and we generally have very good luck with the Oster brand- except for this one. Relatively inexpensive, but doesn't seem to hold a charge well and have a tough time getting through thick hair even with repeated maintenance. I am looking to replace this clipper after only a few years of use (I have other Osters (green cordless model with a rechargeable base) that have been in use for 10+ years.

Our family likes these clippers. We use on sheep mostly but have used on hogs and beef steers. They aren't bad price for 4-H project. Easy for the youth to handle. You don't feel the 12 year old will take his arm off when clipping. Have had these for 5 years and still going strong. Need to replace batteries as not holding much charge anymore. Always keep extra clipper blades and oil on hand. I am general leader and other youth beside my children use this clippers for their animals. Would buy this again.
