Not exactly like the originals
By Rupert Giles
These filters are not quite the same as the Drinkwell originals. For one thing, they are slightly thinner, and for another, they are slightly smaller on every edge. This means that the filter doesn't fit snugly into the filter channel, and this allows unfiltered water to slip by without passing through the filter itself. They will do for now, but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

Perfect for my Drinkwell Platinum.
I bought these PetStandard Premium Charcoal Filters for my Drinkwell Platinum Fountain, and they fit perfectly. They cost about half the price as the filters from Drinkwell, but seem to work just as well and last just as long. I'm very happy with them, and they save me money.

I'm not giving it a good review because it's not suitable for PetSafe Drinkwell Platinum fountain!
I upload multiple pictures of this filter side by side with the original filters of PetSafe Drinkwell Platinum, you see how it's different in size: length, width and also thickness!
By just looking at it, you can see the quality is also lower!
I guess if you're thinking of saving couple of bucks, yes you can use this for your fountain but keep it in my mind that you're not really filtering the water for your pet as the water comes out of the corners without being filtered due to the size difference of these filters!
So what's the point of having a filter in your fountain if it's not doing the job!
I would recommend buying the original filters from Drinkwell PetSafe.
