Daphne Loves Him!
By Stephanie L. Thompson
My toy poodle, Daphne, is tiny. You would think someone her size would prefer tiny, dainty little toys . . . but no, my little fur-minion wants to drag around rubber chickens the same size as her and this loooong crinkly cow. Oh, does she love him! The crinkly sound is the closest thing one can get to the supreme pleasure of tearing up papers with none of the accompanying punishment after one's hour of joy. The cow holds up well to violent tug-o-war, doesn't seem to mind having the living daylights shaken out of him, and is apparently also a great cuddle buddy when nap-times roll around unexpectedly.
***** UPDATE *****
After five months, the squeaker finally died from too much love. That's not bad considering just how much tackling and beating this cow has endured. Other than that, the cow is holding up incredibly well and is still one of Daphne's favorite toys -- I think we play with him just about every evening and she sometimes likes to bring him to bed.

This is my dog's favorite toy. She has gone through a few of them. The only drawback is how easily she chews through the head. There is a mesh inside that I have to cut away every time she manages to sever the nose off. It could get caught on her teeth. Still, she adores her "Mr Moo Moo" and I will get her another one when this one goes to dog toy heaven.

Doesn't last long at all
By Sandra K. Lee
I don't expect much from a toy under $5 but figure it should at least last longer than 2 min. My husky mix (35 pounds) got the squeaker out of the head in 2 min. I'm expecting her to destroy the rest of it in another 2 min.
Also, the 14-in description makes it sound bigger than it is. It is 14 in if you measure it including the flimsy tail that will probably get ripped off easily (that's lasting so far because no squeaker there). The bulk of the toy is really about 12-12.5 inches which is about the smallest you'd want to go for a 35-60 pound dog (which is what I have).
We also bought the skunk, which seems to be holding up better and has two squeakers (one at each end), but it doesn't crinkle at all. So if you have a larger dog and think about getting it, I'd try the skunk and get bigger than 14 in - unless your dog likes crinkle toys.
