International travel with 8 year old 11 pound cat.
First, I want to say that I appreciate the styling of this bag. It is an attractive carrier and has a smart design. There are veiled mesh openings on each end of the bag, on the top of the bag and on one side of the bag. These allow for kitty to feel like he is hidden while providing good air flow opportunities. At one point my cat did scratch and claw at the mesh (he wanted out to use the kitty box) but it did not rip - seems to be made well.
I read one review from someone who commented that her animal was able to pop his head out of the top of the bag. It made me leary of purchasing this carrier. I'm glad I ignored that report and went with my gut. Now that I own the carrier and have used it on a 29hour international trip, I can not understand how on earth her pet did that. The top of the bag has a zipper on both sides. At the end of the zipper there is a strong velcro closer plus a strong clip closure. Teafco has gone to a lot of work to make sure your cat or dog is unable to open the carrier. So, if you zip it all the way, connect the velcro pieces and clip it shut, your pet should not be able to escape. Plus, there is a short tether line inside the bag that can be clipped to the pet's collar so he can't jump out and run when you open the carrier.
My cat was able to stand up, turn around and lie down - and he's a good sized cat.
The cat also preferred this cute, soft carrier to his hard plastic kitty crate. He runs when he sees his crate, but actually willingly got into the Argo bag on several occasions - such as when I had to take him out to go through security or to use his portable, folding kitty litter box.
I am so glad I bought this pet carrier!!

Great, practical carrier
We bought one of these carriers in pink for a flight with our first dog, and did not hesitate to order a second bag in blue when we had to fly with our second pup. The carrier is light, has many compartments for storage which are easily accessible, strong zippers (good for containing an anxious pup), shoulder padding for the carrier, and lots of breathability.
Our dogs are 7lbs and 9lbs and this has plenty of space for them. It is airline approved and I have taken it with no problems on Southwest flights and United flights. I would recommend this as a great carrier for anyone traveling with a small dog.

Good for bunnies
I purchased this to take my rabbits to the vet, as one of them chewed through the zipper in their old carrier. I don't like carrying them in the hard plastic carriers because they look uncomfortable and the bunnies are already stressed enough about having to go to the vet. This is nice because it looks and carries like a tote or duffel bag, so most people don't realize that there is a pet inside. That would be a good benefit if traveling with an animal. It is a good size for my 5 lb bunny because he has room to hop around and change positions and look through different sides. I wouldn't expect this to be comfortable for a dog or cat though, as they cannot move once inside the carrier.
I like that the bag has zippers and pockets on all sides, however it is missing something that would keep the top flap open when loading and unloading. There is a velcro strap that keeps the top zippered flap shut, but there is nothing that keeps it from falling down when trying to load pets in and out. Other than that, it's a good bag for carrying animals discretely when you do not want them to be stressed during travel.
