5I like co flex for what it is

I like co flex for what it is. It's a great self adhesive bandage unlike any other. i work in a hospital and we have the 1 1/2 in size Coflex, and I LOVE it!!!! I work with the babies and it allows you to adhere something to a baby, like gauze after a lab draw without having anything sticky like tape on their fragile skin. It sticks to itself and stays put. It's amazing! My complaint is that this product I bought off amazon isn't as user friendly as the stuff I use in the hospital. It doesn't tear as easy. It has been ripping into pieces when I don't want it to. I've been having to use scissors to cut it instead where the Coflex at work rip nice with a clean line. I don't know why there's a difference, but there is. I would still buy it again and recommend it for the reason that it's a great unique product but the quality of this self bought Amazon one seems cheaper than what I use at the hospital. But it still does what I need it to do.

    5Great Colors!

My daughter injured her finger last year. I took her to a walk-in clinic and they wrapped it this type of bandage. Then this summer my dog had a foot injury had got some of this wrapped around her paw. I've been looking for some of this at the stores, but haven't had much luck. The one time I did find some it was very expensive and it was for one roll in either white or nude. I immediately decided to look online. First of all, I love the assortment of colors! It sticks to itself, but it is also easy enough to unroll. This is 2 inches wide, though I may try to find some thinner tape for smaller injuries. However, this will do in the mean time. I am working on putting together a first aid kit for me to take with me as I chaperone the high school marching band this fall season. I am excited to add this to my kit! It's so much better than the adhesive stuff in my opinion.

5Add this to your first aid kit!

This stuff is great. It is easy to use and stays put for a long time. It stretches, so, you can wrap it as loose or tight as you wish. I use it on my trigger thumb, which gets a lot of use, and even when I accidentally get it wet, I have no problem. I find that I've been able to rewrap the same bandage if it is necessary to loosen or tighten it. Great product to keep around for bandaging awkward places. Can be used with cotton or gauze beneath it for wounds or as a sort of Ace bandage. This is the same stuff used when you get blood drawn (which is how I discovered it) to hold the cotton in place on one's elbow. Oh, and with so many colors, you can coordinate with different outfits! :)
