Good price, good food
By Matt F.
Great price, transitioned my dogs to this food no issues. Dogs love it, very healthy coats on lab and corgi. Wanted a better food than Beneful, I am aware this isn't like Orijen or Blue Buffalo, but talks with vet suggested this would be a perfectly acceptable and decent food. Will definitely keep dogs on this, they seem happy, and their weight is stable. I may get some thumbs down , but it isn't always necessary to stick with the grain free fad. You can find equally adequate research for both sides. Anyway, I recommend; for whatever that is worth; for a mid tier food, I think it is a good bet.

Three Year Old Pitbull and a Two Year Old Greyhound/bulldog mix. They get 2 dishes of this food a day. Lasts shortly under a month. Their poops have since become more solid (Thank Goodness). With Addison (grey/bull) and Axel (pit), we switched to wet dog food shortly after getting this dog food once. They liked it before, but they both grow tired of the same dog food quickly. Especially when we give them too much, or leave it out for them to graze. We switched to wet dog food, but it gets pretty expensive considering that it does not last long at all.
Made the switch from expensive wet dog food to this one day. Addison waited patiently beside the bag when it arrived, remembering that this was her food. We have not switched back since. We will soon be getting this subscribed to us, since it works, is economical, and to cash in on bigger savings.

I have a very picky dog when it comes to eating. She can (and will) go days without eating. So bad that she even vomits throughout the day. She's done this since she was young and there is no medical issue with her, she's just anorexic apparently.
With this issue I have gone through many different types of food to try to entice her to eat. From pedigree to Taste of the Wild, I've tried it. I've even tried many different flavors and formulas of Purina and this one by far, wins.
She now eats twice a day instead of leaving a dish out all day hoping she eats. She actually asks to be fed now. Granted she did have a a few days last week when she started starving herself again but after 24 hours I usually add a package of Cesar wet food which entices her to eat. She has major bone and joint issues (even though she's only 3... so much for mutts being more healthy!) so I don't add too many meal enticers to her food because I have to watch her weight due to mobility issues.
This food is palatable, affordable and I'm very happy to have tried it.
