My dog loves it
By Erin C
I was a bad puppy parent and we didn't brush our dog's teeth enough as a puppy. So as a result, anytime we tried it became a fight of my husband and I holding her down and shoving the toothbrush in her mouth. Not fun for us or her.
The old toothpaste ran out/dried up and I decided to invest in this. Now, when I ask her "Do you want to get your teeth brushed?" She goes over to the cabinet I keep it in, and happily climbs up on the sofa. She still doesn't love the actual brushing aspect of it, but the fact that it is now less of a battle makes it worth the investment.
Does it work? Her breath is better after using it. We try to do it 2-3 times a week now. We are hoping to avoid having to pay a huge vet bill to get her teeth "professionally" cleaned. Last time we took her into the vet she said overall her teeth look pretty good, so that was a relief.

Works well with a flavor dogs love (and a scent you'll love!)
By Meg Danish
I was a little skeptical that my dogs would like the vanilla mint flavor of this toothpaste, but the other reviews were so positive I decided to try it out. I have five dogs (a Westie, a chihuahua mix, a shih tzu mix, a Newfoundland, and a Yorkie) and they ALL go crazy for this toothpaste. My Newf likes it so much she begs for it like a treat!
It seems to work well so far; the active ingredient in this toothpaste is peroxidase, which is a naturally-occurring enzyme found in many organisms that produces hydrogen peroxide for the purpose of killing bacteria. As such, you don't really need to do any brushing at all. Just get this stuff where it needs to go and the peroxidase does the rest.
Bonus: the resulting scent is fresh and minty, MUCH better than meat-flavored toothpastes!

Game changer for my dogs oral health
I like the brand. I also buy their dental chews. Using this toothpaste 2-3 times a week and giving the dental chew 1-2 times a week I see a dramatic difference in the amount of buildup on my dogs teeth and a drastic improvement of his breath. Love that this is a vanilla flavor and not chicken or beef which doesn't smell all that great. Overall this product is worth buying and using. Regular brushing will save your dogs teeth and will help prevent expensive dental cleaning.
