My Australian Shepherd's favorite toy
This might be my dog's favorite toy. I have a high energy australian shepherd and he's OBSESSED with his Jolly Ball. We've had it for 2 months now and while there are teeth marks on the handle he has not punctured the ball at all.
When we walk a mile to the park to play with it, he will carry it all the way there and all the way back. This is the only toy he will do this with.
I'm pretty sure if we kept throwing it indefinitely, he would fetch it beyond the point of exhaustion. He loves it that much.
I highly recommend this toy to all dog owners!

Our dog LOVES her ball!
By D. Williams
We recently adopted an Australian Shepherd-Border Collie mix said to be about 1.5 years old. Anyone who knows these breeds at all knows that they are intelligent and physical, and absolutely must have plenty of physical and mental stimulation. We remembered how much our very old dog (a Border Collie mix going on 14 years old) loved her Jolly Ball when she was younger, so I looked for one for the new dog.
Similar balls for dogs at the local farm store had floss instead of a molded handle. Dogs that play hard can fray the floss and harm themselves with the frayed thread. This one with a molded handle is just the thing.
Did the younger dog like her new ball? Absolutely yes! I tossed the ball once, and she knew exactly what to do; she shook it, ran with it, cuffed it with her paws, rolled around with it, the works!
If you have a dog like ours – young, with a low boredom threshold, buy one of these for him/her. The dog will love it!

My Lab absolutely loves this ball. The day I gave it to him, he played with it for almost 3 hours straight pushing it around with his nose. That night I left it for him to play with and he started chewing the handle and is in the process of destroying it. Thankfully, I got all the pieces and he did not swallow any.
I will not let him play with it anymore since I do not want him eating the ball. I am going to order another one but this time without the handle. If your dog is one that will not chew and eat the ball this is a great product. If your dog does chew then maybe the handleless one is the way to go. I'm going to give it a try!
