Aquarium Lights [Mingdak] LED
By Carolyn D
Adjustable but sturdy. Stupid cat walks across it. I have a 10 gal half moon, glass. The white light seems to keep my plants happy and the blue light makes a nice night light for that corner of the kitchen. It's not so strong that the whole room is lit up. I had a light bar in blue that was so bright I gave it away and bought this instead. Much better! I'd buy one of these again, no hesitation. I've only had it about a week so and I can't speak to it's longevity but the bulbs are covered. That will help it last longer. The lights that came with the tank (Marineland LED) didn't have a cover over the bulbs. They corroded.
The first picture shows the blue and white lights reflected on the surface of the water. The second picture shows the width of my tank. The last picture shows how far the lights will sit above the top of the tank. Hope this is helpful.

Lighting is great for up to 20 inch 10-20 gallon tank
Lighting is great for up o 20 inch 10 0r 20 gallon tank. Just use blue plus white and enjoy. What is not great is the very weak when fully extended spider like legs. Every time I turn on/off tank I fear that the whole thing is going to fall into the tank. Most common small 5,10, 20 gallon tanks are about twenty inches across. While this fits that length, it leaves nothing left over, if truly fully extended at that point. If they had added just one half inch more of extended legging, this would be a five star plus light. Price, brightness, weight all great.
If you have your tank raised up at all the lights will she between tank top and water level into your eyes. Otherwise, awesome deal.

Great color and brightness
By Jay L. Warfel
Had this for a month or so now, the unit is very bright. I bought 2 of them for a reef tank (5g Marineland Portrait Nano) and am only using one. Keeping Xenia and shrooms and they seem happy. I did have to bend the legs to get it to fit on the frameless Portrait, but it was easy and done by hand. (The photo attached I hadn't modified it yet. I did it to get it away from the salt spray). There is no independent light control for the blue lights as has been pointed out, but I don't need it (It's an $19 light for heaven's sake.)
Overall it's a great light for the price if you don't care about an actinic phase in/out or don't mind doing it manually.
