sharp sheep clippers
By Nicole Moore
I actually purchased this for my long haired german shepherd. It was the best purchase I've ever made. I was able to shave 2 trash bags worth of fur off of her without hurting her in any way and she looks great and she doesn't pant anymore. This worked wonderful. Very quick but the clippers are heavy and noisy. I had to switch arms a few times. Overall, Im glad I bought this and so is my dog,Got this for my dog... Schnauzer/terrier breed. My dog is allergic to FLEAS, we treat him, but the neighbor has 4 dogs. So every 3 to 4 months when my dogs hair is long, we start noticing his allergic reaction to the bites. Trimming his coat short is the best treatment. I've been struggling with clippers that take super long, at least 2 hours for his whole body. The shears are quite big, takes some practice. It took my like 30 minutes to do his whole body, and taking breaks in between. The machine gets very hot due to the fact the my dogs hair is difficult to deal with. Over all great machine. Price is excellent as well. I would recommed being very careful with this as it can cut his ears or other loose skinI have an animal sanctuary and ended up with a wether sheep that hadn't been sheared in years. I tried to find someone to shear him to no avail. Finally, I ordered these and got a group of friends. Working together we were able to remove to take 25 lbs of wool off the poor boy in about three hours. The shears worked flawlessly. The only complaint is that the user manual is so small as to almost unreadable. Luckily I had one from another pair of shears I borrowed to refer to.

We are new to sheep and goats and were a little skeptical of shearing our own livestock. But when we couldn't find anyone in the surrounding area to do it we decided to give it a try. After looking at several models, and the reviews, I decided on these. Let me tell you, they worked like a charm. We had to clean them off after every ewe and once during the process, but they cut true and my son did an absolutely amazing job for never having done it before. Be sure and use plenty of a cooling lubricant during the process. And for heaven's sake be very careful as they can cut right through the skin of a lamb (or the sheared) before you ever know it's happening! Thank goodness we didn't have any mishaps but have heard lots of terrible stories.
