OK but Costly
I hate that High Tech Pet redesigned their pet collars to use batteries that are exclusive to them and not widely available. Then they proceed to charge and arm and a leg for batteries. The batteries are fine, but business practices like this are a rip off.

Corporate Rip Off
By Christine M. Bagby
The batteries are hit and miss for how long they last. This also may be due to where they are ordered from. My experience ordering and battery life from this purchase was extremely poor. The package was ordered on Feb. 5th and because of an error on the part of the supplier for my address, it was sent back by USPS. I had to follow up with USPS as to what the issue was as well as the supplier to get an idea of when I could expect the batteries...I received them nearly 3 weeks later. It's now March 10th and I have already had to replace one of the batteries I received at the end of February. These are normally inexpensive batteries, but High Tech has made nearly impossible to order except from certain vendors at a ridiculous markup.

Beware of Bad Product
By Nancie Quinton
I wouldn't invest in the door that requires these batteries. It broke after only 2-3 weeks of use. Fortunately I was able to get a refund on the door and Amazon was great to work with through that however I wasn't able to get a refund on the upgraded collar that arrived without a battery making this purchase necessary. I don't expect electronics to last forever but for the cost of this door that's way too much for only a few weeks of use. If you do invest in this door please check through the comments, there is an off brand of these batteries cheaper, I had high hopes of a grand door and didn't want the knock off batteries.
