Can't do without
Setting up a saltwater aquarium requires proper water quality, filtration, and lighting. After investing quite a bit of time and money in preparation, the one annoyance that constantly disrupted my tank was the failure of the suction cups on my powerheads. On a weekly basis the powerheads would lose suction and fall stirring up the substrate and coating my live rock with a nice layer of silt. It took me two months before I invested in the Algae Free Sure Grip Magnetic Holders. I haven't had a problem since. The quality of the reef aquarium is dependent upon the quality of materials put into it, including Algae Free Sure Grip Magnetic Holders.

If your using something light there it's fine but I tried them on the Marineland Magnum Polishing internal filter and use it as a power head/filter with media and filter floss and it was to heavy for the magnets. Use it for just a power head it's fine. O by the way the Marineland polishing internal canister filter don't waste your money. If you want more filtration your better with a sponge filter or a HOB.

These are the Best Aquaria Magnets
By Bradley 98
These are hands down, the best magnets I've ever used. I'm using mine to hold up an in-tank skimmer, and another pair for an algae skimmer. Very strong magnets. Highly recommended.
